GO-TO MEALS THAT WORK FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY.

Finally master meal planning...in a way that works for you.

Tired of stressing over what to cook? Sick of cooking meals your kids don’t enjoy? Frustrated with the amount of money you’re spending on takeout and fast food? Fed up with society’s standards of what you “should” feed your family?

Capsule Menu Planning (TM) is a revolutionary new program that will help you ditch diet culture, serve delicious, easy meals and help your family develop a healthy relationship with food!

Have you tried Pinterest, meal kits, purchasing meal plans and more but still struggle with getting meals on the table that your family actually enjoys?

Are you confused about how you “should” feed your kids to support both their nutrition and a healthy relationship with food?

So many solutions to these issues are laced with diet culture and none are personalized to your own family’s lifestyle.

It’s time for a new approach!

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Introducing

Capsule Menu Planning

A revolutionary meal planning system to help make getting a dinner everyone loves on the table easy and enjoyable…once and for all!

Capsule Menu Planning is inspired by minimalism, foodservice management and ditching diet culture ideals about what meals “should” look like, all so you can focus on the foods your family enjoys and that you can prepare with ease.

By the end of this course, you’ll have developed a series of crowd-pleasing meals that you can serve on repeat. You’ll stress less about food, save money on groceries/takeout and help your kids expand their palettes – repetition is key to new food acceptance!

Oh, and we’ll smash the patriarchy while we’re at it (you know, that impossible standard that you should somehow be a full-time homemaker along with all your other responsibilities…)

The program includes access to a 45-day free trial of Plan to Eat, a meal-planning app to streamline your meal planning!

I'm intrigued! But what is
"Capsule Menu Planning"?

Have you heard of capsule wardrobes? It’s a little like that…you select the pieces (meals) that work for your personal style, wear (serve) them on repeat and simply don’t worry about the rest!

If you’ve ever had a child in a daycare or school setting, you’ve probably noticed that their foodservice operation has a few weeks worth of rotating meals. This keeps things simple for the cafeteria staff, plkus since kids thrive on familiarity, they love it too!

You can ditch the diet culture ideals that say meal planning means cooking recipes with long lists of ingredients from scratch to figure out a plan that works for YOU with Capsule Meal Planning.

this program includes:

video learning sessions

Four 30-45 minute video modules detail the exact small steps to take to build your capsule. We’ll cover how diet culture is thwarting your dinner efforts, why Capsule Menu Planning works, how to gather your recipes and use the meal planning software Plan to Eat, and how to start putting together your unique crowd-pleasing capsule.

After each module, you’ll get a small homework assignment to start building a capsule your family can rely on indefinitely!

Recipe ideas + cooking tips

Although this program highly encourages you to rely on your own favorite meals and recipes, it’s also packed with meal ideas that you can import into your own. You’ll also find cooking tips, ideas to keep your favorite recipes fresh and meal planning hacks to streamline your weeknight cooking.

worksheets + feeding advice

Capsule Menu Planning is packed with everything you need to get your kitchen running like a small-scale foodservice operation (because it is!) Go from nightly chaos to a well-oiled machine by planning out what your family likes, then plugging the meals into the done-for-you worksheets to get your weekly menus and grocery lists on set-it-and-forget-it mode!

And since repetition is the key to kids learning to enjoy new foods, you’ll also learn from Diana’s expertise as a pediatric feeding professional about structuring mealtimes to be pleasant and supportive of your family’s relationship with food.

Hi there! I’m excited to get to know you. I’m a registered dietitian, a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and a mom to two little kids. I own Tiny Seed Family Nutrition and I’m the voice behind @anti.diet.kids.

I’m also a bit of a unicorn…I’ve had the incredible privilege of enjoying a healthy relationship with food my entire life. I attribute this to the specific actions my own parents took to break the cycle of dieting and body shame they learned themselves so that I wouldn’t suffer in the same way. Because of this, I actually enjoy cooking and meal planning! I also find that talking to my kids about food in a positive way is second nature to me. My passion in life is helping others learn to do the same.

Frequently asked questions

It’s normal for people in a family to prefer different foods! With Capsule Menu Planning, instead of serving meals that some family members love and others hate, you’ll get into a rhythm of serving crowd-pleasing meals with accommodations for each family member that are mostly the same each time the meal comes up in your rotation.

No one else can or should tell you what or how to eat! A pre-made meal plan doesn’t account for your family’s unique lifestyle or cultural preferences. So in Capsule Menu Planning, you’ll use your own recipes, plus ideas from the meal suggestions that sound best to YOU. Plus, this program absolutely will not encourage you to cook everything from scratch! (unless you want to!) In Capsule Menu Planning, there’s absolutely no shame in relying on jarred sauces, frozen convenience items, drive-through nights…whatever works for YOUR lifestyle!

Although you can absolutely eat whatever you want, whenever you want as an adult practicing intuitive eating, a huge part of caring for your body is generally planning what to eat in advanced based on your food preferences and budget. Don’t worry, lots of flexibility is built into Capsule Menu Planning! If you’re not in the mood for something, we’ll talk about how to adjust your plan.

Plan to Eat is a third-party meal planning software platform. Diana is a huge fan! When you’re “friends” with Diana on Plan to Eat, you’ll be able to import her recipes into your account and contribute your own crowd-pleasing recipes to the program. Capsule Menu Planning includes a 45-day free trial to Plan to Eat, after which point you can opt for a paid subscription ($49/year or $5.95/month) or export your recipes.

Nope! This program is all about nailing down a system that works for YOU. So if you already have a meal planning platform that you like, or you simply don’t like Plan to Eat’s interface, don’t use it! You will still gain lots of value from the learning the Capsule Menu Planning system. You can also use your free Plan to Eat trial to explore Diana’s recommended recipes and import them into whatever system you prefer.

Kids thrive on familiarity! Pressure-free repeated exposure is one of the best tools we have to help children learn to enjoy new foods. So while I can’t guarantee they’ll eat every last thing you serve right away (or ever!) repeated exposure will definitely help most kids come around to new foods eventually, making mealtimes that much easier for you!

Haha, only if you want to! Just like with capsule wardrobes, we’ll talk about switching out your staple meals based on the season. Plus, you’ll learn strategies to keep things interesting without adding new recipes altogether, such as rotating sauces and side dishes. And you can even plan “wildcard” meals where you try something new altogether…the program includes voting sheets for your family members to weigh in on a new recipe’s success!

Not a problem! You’ll find lots of inspo in Diana’s Plan to Eat account. Plus, the program encourages you to rely on no-recipe meals, such as a doctored-up frozen pizza. It’s all about what works for YOUR lifestyle!

Yes, absolutely! However, this program also helps you embrace the useful role that meals like takeout can play in your meal planning, so that you can plan in advance to order takeout on busy nights and enjoy it without feeling like you should have cooked something!

You’re still a great fit for the program! You’ll be able to filter Diana’s suggested recipes in Plan to Eat by the “vegetarian” tag, easily swap vegetarian proteins into the other recipes and import your own favorite recipes as well.
If you have to eat a certain way to manage a medical condition, we’ll talk about finding recipes that work for your condition and adapting them so your whole family can enjoy the same meal.
