Feeding support that

works for your

family's lifestyle

Are you ready to stop fighting food and embrace intuitive eating? Let's chat.

At Tiny Seed Family Nutrition, we understand that when a child struggles with eating, it’s stressful for the whole family. Our goal is to restore peace to your family table and support your child’s health through excellent nutrition and positive family feeding dynamics.

Because Tiny Seed Family Nutrition is a weight-inclusive practice, you won’t see weight management listed among our specialties. We follow The American Academy of Pediatrics’ 2016 guidelines that outline the harms of intentional weight loss interventions in children. Instead, we help families pursue overall healthy lifestyles and positive relationships with food regardless of a child’s body size.

However, we understand that you may have concerns related to your child’s body size, whether large or small. Rest assured, we will use every clinical tool available to us to explore your concerns about your child’s growth and ensure that they are receiving the health-promoting nutrition they need to thrive.

All services are provided via telehealth. We are licensed to provide medical nutrition therapy in the state of Oklahoma. Non-Oklahoma residents, please explore our child feeding coaching service (available to Oklahoma residents as well).

Get started by filling out the inquiry form below. We look forward to helping you along this journey!

Please note that at this time, we do not work with active cases of anorexia and bulimia.

conditions we treat

Weight concerns

Whether your child is at the low or high end of the growth charts, we'll work together to determine how to support your child's unique growth needs through gentle nutrition and positive feeding dynamics.

Selective eating

We specialize in helping selective (or "picky") eaters feel comfortable and confident when eating and expand their palettes to meet their nutrition needs with a variety of foods in a way that meets their works for your family's lifestyle.

Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

This eating disorder commonly onsets in childhood and is sometimes called "extreme picky eating." We specialize in helping you support your child to meet their nutritional needs while managing this challenging condition.

Feeding therapy support

Children in feeding therapy generally require unique nutrition support. Note that we are not pediatric feeding therapy providers. When children are receiving feeding therapy from a qualified OT or SLP, we support the family by advising parents on dietary patterns and positive feeding dynamics as well as through collaborating with your therapy team.

Tube feeding/Tube weaning

Nutrition support for children who are fed in full or in part via feeding tube is unique. We offer guidance on nutrition support products, blenderized tube feedings and supporting children through the tube weaning process.

Food fixations

When children seem obsessed with food, it's easy to think restriction is the answer, but it isn't. We help families address their children's food fixation through positive feeding tactics that will help your child develop a healthy relationship with food.

Intuitive eating for teens

Whether your teen is feeling the pressure to diet and wants to learn intuitive eating instead or is in recovery from a diagnosed eating disorder and wants to move away from exchanges or the plate-by-plate method, we can help them learn intuitive eating and embark on a lifetime of honoring their appetite.
